Arcus secures inaugural financing <\/span> for Portus Data Centers<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

London, 28 May 2026 \u2013<\/strong> Portus Data Centers (\u201cPortus\u201d or \u201cthe Company\u201d), a regional data centre platform with colocation facilities in Germany and adjacent countries, has, together with Arcus Infrastructure Partners (\u201cArcus\u201d), successfully raised a financing package of \u20ac80m from NIBC, Rabobank and UniCredit.<\/p>

The financing comprises a \u20ac70m capex facility and a \u20ac10m revolving credit facility. The proceeds of the capex facility will primarily be used to fund the ongoing development of the Munich 2 project (\u201cMUC2\u201d), a new 5.5MW colocation facility being constructed in Portus\u2019 existing Munich campus. Featuring a leading, energy-efficient design, MUC2 will deliver much-needed high-quality IT capacity to the Munich market. Service commencement is expected in Q1 2027. The financing package also provides a \u20ac200m uncommitted accordion to support future growth. <\/p>

Charlie Scott, Senior Investment Director at Arcus and Asset Manager of Portus, commented: \u201cPortus has been successfully expanding its capacity to meet increasing customer demand, and this financing marks an important milestone in that growth journey. This project will enable the development of MUC 2 in Munich, which will provide the equivalent capacity of Portus\u2019 three existing data centres combined, significantly strengthening our platform. With persistent customer demand for resilient, high-performance data centre capacity, this investment ensures Portus remains well positioned to support its customers\u2019 evolving needs.\u201d<\/em><\/p>
