Portus Munich is part of the wider Portus Data Center group, providing carrier-neutral edge colocation services across Germany and the surrounding regions since 2020. We have a diverse customer base, including telecom carriers, global technology and social media companies and content distribution networks and enterprises from a variety of sectors that all seek to host their IT infrastructure in a secure location close to their own critical operations.
Munich and the wider Bavaria area is home to some of the biggest companies in the word. Portus Munich is strategically located just to the east of Munich in Kircheim and aims to serve the whole of the Munich and Bavaria area of Germany as well as national and international customers.

- 1.5MW of power (with expansion plans bringing this to 5.5MW in the near future).
- State-of-the-art-technology.
- A fully redundant highly efficient cooling system using a combination of well water, free colling and top up compressor cooling.
- Very early smoke detection apparatus (VESDA approved)
- Multiple independent fibre networks to serve our customers
Current expansion plans should bring extra IT power capacity to 5.5 MW.
