Colocation Space

Are you looking for colocation space or would you like to move your servers from your own premises to a secure data center? And in Hamburg, too? Then Portus is the perfect partner for you. We offer individual racks as well as racks within a cage.

Racks

Among other things, we provide you with high-quality racks from Rittal in our data centers. The energy required in the rack is billed precisely to the kWh using calibrated meters. If you are interested in other upstream providers, that’s no problem for us either. At our HH3 location, we offer, among other things, 24/7 on-site security as well as additional redundancies (2 transformers, 2 generators, 2 UPSs).

IP Transit

Failsafe reliability and the high quality of network connections are important.

That’s why Portus operates a broad based backbone connection to many carriers.

Also benefit from Portus as an upstream provider: send your data via IP transit via our multiply redundant infrastructure – and spare yourself the high expense of maintaining your own comparable connection.

On-Call (24/7)

In order to ensure the constant and trouble-free operation of your systems, our on-call operations service is available 24/7, all year round. In the event of an emergency even on Christmas Eve.

Remote Hands

With remote hands Portus Data Centers offers the remote administration of your systems by trained technicians. For example:

  • Restart of IT equipment including monitoring the boot process
  • Insert and remove data storage media
  • Inspection and replacement of hardware components
  • Transport logistics and equipment storage
  • Documentation, labeling or marking equipment

SLA

It’s unpleasant when hard disks fail or network components stop working. That why, it’s even more pleasant when you can quickly respond to such events. We monitor your servers 24/7 and react immediately if problems occur. After informing you, we will diagnose and fix the problem. And of course we keep replacement hardware on hand so you don’t experience any unnecessary delays.

SSA

Secure server operation is not possible without the latest security updates: Portus Data Centers manages the care and maintenance of your system and ensures that it is always running with the latest security patches. Once a new security update becomes available, we check it for compatibility and then install it on your system. After talking to you first, of course. Should services restarts or reboots be necessary, we’ll set the desired date with you.
